ANDREAS BALTSCHUN
As a native of Ost-Westfalen (NRW), after my studies at the
Bauhaus University, the classic and cultural city of Europe Weimar as
chosen the center of my life.
I came to editing through working on my own cinematic works and
the assembly of various diploma theses of my fellow students
my studies.
Through the editing assistance with Jörg Hauschild ("Die Aufschneider")
and I got another assistance from Monika Schindler ("Meer is not")
Insights into the work of an assistant and that of an editor.
Monika Schindler became my mentor and was able to accompany and support me on my way to the editing room.
In addition to editing feature films (e.g. "Für Elise" directed by Wolfgang Dinslage) and feature documentaries ("Sandgirl" directed by Mark Michel), this also includes TV feature films (e.g. "Tatort - The Last Schrey" directed by Mira Thiel) and series (e.g "Der Pass - Staffel I" Director: Cyrill Boss & Philipp Stennert) about my work.
I work part-time as a guest lecturer at the HFF in Munich.
